Clinical Pharmacist - Hollywood, FL

A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available on a 13-week contract in a vibrant inpatient setting located in Hollywood, Florida, conveniently situated between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. The role focuses on delivering specialized pharmaceutical care with an emphasis on pediatric and NICU populations, requiring hands-on experience and precision in dosing.

Schedule Options:

• Day Shift: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM, rotating weekends (5 x 8-hour shifts)
• Overnight Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:15 AM, rotating weekends (5 x 8-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert clinical pharmacy services for pediatric inpatient care, including accurate pediatric dosing and medication management.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation, order processing, and communication.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards while maintaining a current Florida pharmacist license in good standing.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida pharmacist license with a strong professional standing.
• Prior experience working with pediatric and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients is highly preferred; resumes should clearly reflect this expertise.
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records or similar systems.
