A rapidly expanding 503a/b compounding pharmacy is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to support their high-volume overnight shift in Houston, TX. This opportunity involves playing a vital role in compounding specialized medications including GLP-1s and weight loss therapies within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The pharmacy is experiencing significant growth, with prescription volumes increasing from 6,000 to over 22,000 scripts daily, creating urgent demand for skilled pharmacists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare customized medications following prescriptions and compounding standards
  • Maintain meticulous records for formulations, ingredients, and inventory management
  • Communicate clearly with patients, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure timely and safe service
  • Stay up-to-date on pharmaceutical trends, innovations, and advanced compounding techniques

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active and clear Pharmacist license in Texas
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in sterile compounding, preferably in a high-volume setting
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software such as LifeFile and PK Software
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills

Location: Houston, Texas
Schedule:

  • Overnight shift (3rd shift)
  • Monday through Friday, 9:00pm – 5:00am
