Clinical Pharmacist - Houston, Texas

Seven openings are available for experienced compounding pharmacists at a growing pharmacy location in Stafford, Texas. This contract-to-hire opportunity spans a 13-week initial assignment, with potential for permanent placement.

Schedule:

• Shift: 1st
• Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare customized medications by following prescriptions and compounding standards precisely.
• Communicate clearly with patients, healthcare professionals, and team members to ensure quality care.
• Maintain accurate records of formulations, ingredients, and inventory to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians and support staff to provide timely and efficient service.
• Keep up-to-date with pharmaceutical trends and new compounding techniques to maximize service quality.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid and active Pharmacist license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of one year of experience specifically in sterile compounding.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software such as LifeFile and PK Software is preferred.
