Clinical Pharmacist - Houston, TX

This opportunity seeks experienced compounding pharmacists to support a growing pharmacy team at their expanding location in Texas. The role focuses on preparing customized medications while ensuring strict adherence to compounding standards and patient safety. This position operates on a 13-week contract to hire basis, offering an excellent pathway to permanent employment.

Location:

• Stafford, Texas

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• First shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound sterile medications based on prescriptions and established protocols
• Maintain precise records of formulations, ingredients, and inventory levels
• Communicate clearly with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues to provide excellent service
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow
• Keep up-to-date with the latest pharmaceutical trends and compounding techniques

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear Texas Pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year experience in sterile compounding within a pharmacy setting
• Proven ability to adhere to compounding standards and safety procedures
• Familiarity with pharmacy software such as LifeFile and PK Software preferred
