Travel Pharmacist

We're seeking an experienced Travel Night Shift Inpatient Pharmacist for a pediatric hospital in Lubbock, TX. This is an excellent long term travel opportunity offering a consistent 7on/7off schedule with the potential to transition to a day shift assignment later in the contract.

Position Details

• Travel Contract - 6 Months +
• ASAP Start
• 7on/7off Schedule
• Night Shift: 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM
• Opportunity to transition to a day shift later in the assignment

Responsibilities

• Verify and dispense medications for hospitalized pediatric and adult patients.
• Review medication orders for safety, accuracy, and appropriate dosing.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and order verification.
• Manage automated dispensing cabinets using Pyxis.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services during overnight operations.

Requirements

• Active Texas Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
• Recent EPIC experience.
• Pediatric hospital pharmacy experience.
• Experience with Pyxis.
• Ability to work independently on overnight shifts.
