A Clinical Pharmacist role is available in Indianapolis, IN, offering an opportunity to deliver advanced pharmaceutical care within a closed door mail order environment. This position is a 13-week temp-to-direct hire assignment with a schedule primarily Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with possible Saturdays as needed. The role involves partnering with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide direct patient care, therapeutic drug monitoring, and evidence-based medication management.

Key responsibilities include accurately dispensing medications, educating patients on proper use and potential side effects, and reviewing physician orders for effectiveness and safety. The Clinical Pharmacist will monitor drug therapy for contraindications and interactions, collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes, and maintain detailed patient records. Compliance with pharmacy laws, proper medication handling, participation in quality assurance, inventory management, and outstanding customer service are also essential duties. Staying current with pharmacy advancements and engaging in ongoing professional development is expected.

Qualifications and experience desired for this role include:
