A Clinical Pharmacist position is available in a closed-door mail order pharmacy environment focusing on advanced pharmacotherapy and direct patient care. Location: Indianapolis, IN
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Possible Saturday shifts based on operational needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications in compliance with prescription orders and regulatory standards.
• Provide clear medication counseling and education, addressing dosage, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Review and interpret physician orders to verify therapy appropriateness.
• Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, adverse interactions, and duplications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and adherence.
• Maintain detailed patient records including medication histories and interventions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and guidelines.
• Oversee proper medication storage and handling, monitoring expiration and quality.
• Participate in pharmacy quality assurance and continuous improvement programs.
• Assist with pharmaceutical inventory management and supply coordination.
• Deliver excellent customer service by resolving questions and promoting pharmacy services.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with pharmacy practice advancements.

Qualifications:

• PharmD degree required
• Licensed to practice pharmacy in Indiana
• California pharmacy license preferred or willingness to obtain CA licensure via reciprocity (financial support provided)
