Clinical Pharmacist - Inglewood, California

This full-time, on-site opportunity is ideal for a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to provide specialized clinical and dispensing services focused on infusion and specialty medications. The role requires comprehensive oversight of prescription review, clinical assessments, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in line with evidence-based guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include preparing and verifying compounded sterile products, collaborating closely with prescribers and nursing staff on individual therapy plans, and counseling patients about medication use, potential side effects, and adherence strategies. The Clinical Pharmacist will coordinate treatment logistics within the pharmacy team, manage medication inventories, document clinical interventions, and actively support quality assurance, safety protocols, and compliance measures. Additionally, this role plays a pivotal part in continuous improvement initiatives and serves as a trusted clinical resource for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or equivalent and current, unrestricted pharmacist license in California.
• Proven proficiency in compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations, adhering to USP as well as federal and state standards.
• Prior experience in infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy, or clinical/hospital pharmacy settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with insurance prior authorization, specialty medication reimbursement, and patient assistance programs is advantageous.
• Demonstrated strong clinical judgment with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, caregivers, prescribers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Specialized infusion experience in neurology and oncology preferred.
• Experience with CareTend system is a plus.
