A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available at a well-established 400-bed teaching hospital in North Texas. This role requires a licensed pharmacist in Texas with strong clinical expertise, ideally residency-trained, to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a dynamic hospital setting. The position offers an engaging work environment with variable schedules, including potential day or afternoon shifts, and the flexibility of a 7-on/7-off rotation.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct clinical pharmacy services to support patient care and therapeutic outcomes
- Collaborate with medical teams to optimize medication management
- Monitor and review medication regimens for safety and efficacy
- Participate in clinical rounds and contribute to interdisciplinary discussions
- Provide education and guidance to healthcare professionals and patients as needed
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Texas pharmacy license
- Completion of a residency program is highly preferred
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to make sound pharmacotherapeutic decisions
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience working within a hospital or acute care setting is advantageous
