Clinical Pharmacist | Irvine, California

This opportunity is for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations at a medical center in California. The role involves working a mix of day and evening shifts, primarily 4x10-hour schedules, with varying start times between early morning and afternoon, including rotating weekends. This contract assignment spans 13 weeks, starting in May.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain smooth inpatient pharmacy workflows with a focus on operations
• Check and verify medication orders to ensure safety and accuracy
• Perform additional duties aligned with your clinical expertise
• Collaborate with healthcare teams as needed, potentially participating in clinical rounding

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years recent inpatient pharmacy experience is required
• Completion of a PGY-1 residency highly preferred
• Prior clinical pharmacy rounding experience strongly desired
• Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic hospital environment

Location:

• Position based in Southern California near Laguna Hills

Schedule:

• 4x10-hour shifts per week, with start times at 6 AM, 10 AM, 12 PM, 1 PM, or 1:30 PM
• Rotating weekend shifts included
