Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist - Irvington, KY

This per diem position offers an opportunity to provide clinical pharmacy services at a small, 25-bed critical access hospital. The role supports inpatient care needs from June 22nd through June 26th, Monday through Friday, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety
• Monitor and guide pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Perform medication cart fills in preparation for patient administration
• Manage Pyxis dispensing systems to facilitate timely medication delivery

Qualifications:

• Current and active Kentucky pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with Cerner pharmacy system is preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge to support patient care decisions
• Effective interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with healthcare teams

Location:

• Irvington, KY, within a community hospital environment providing close, patient-centered care

Per Diem Details:
