Provide essential clinical pharmacy services as a per diem pharmacist in a small, 25-bed critical access hospital. This inpatient role supports PRN needs from June 22nd through June 26th, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Serve in a close-knit environment with census typically ranging from 8 to 15 patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders with accuracy and clinical judgment
- Monitor and supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure workflow efficiency
- Manage medication cart fills to maintain timely patient care
- Oversee Pyxis automated dispensing system operations for medication safety
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active and clear Kentucky pharmacist license
- Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy experience
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records preferred
- Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
