Outpatient Pharmacist

We're seeking a Retail Pharmacist for a busy outpatient pharmacy in the Kansas City area. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys patient interaction and wants a stable Monday-Friday schedule in a healthcare-focused retail setting.

Responsibilities:

• Verify, fill, and check prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Oversee and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Counsel patients on medications, side effects, and adherence
• Review patient profiles for drug interactions and clinical appropriateness
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to optimize patient care
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for pharmacy workflows and medication management

Requirements:

• Active Missouri Pharmacist license required
• Retail pharmacy experience required
• Full-time availability required
• Strong communication and patient counseling skills
• Experience with prescription verification and technician oversight
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis preferred

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• Day shifts
• ASAP start
• 3+ month contract with potential for extension
