Outpatient Hospital Pharmacist - Kansas City, MO

We are seeking an experienced Outpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week+ contract assignment in Kansas City, Missouri. This role is based in a pediatric outpatient pharmacy setting affiliated with a hospital system.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist with retail or outpatient experience who is looking for a stable weekday schedule in a clinical, patient-focused environment.

Position Details
Location: Kansas City, MO
Setting: Outpatient Pharmacy (Hospital-affiliated, pediatric-focused)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift
Contract Length: 13 weeks+
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:
-Verify, fill, and check prescriptions accurately and efficiently
-Oversee and support pharmacy technicians in daily workflow
-Provide medication counseling to patients and caregivers
-Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards
-Maintain high-quality patient care in a pediatric outpatient setting
-Perform additional duties as assigned within scope of practice

Ideal Candidate
-Active Missouri Pharmacist license
-Prior retail or outpatient pharmacy experience
-Full-time availability for the duration of the assignment
-Strong communication and patient counseling skills
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment
