An urgent opportunity is available for an Overnight Compounding Pharmacist to support a rapidly expanding 503a/b compounding pharmacy in Texas. This pharmacy focuses on preparing specialized medications, including GLP-1s and weight loss treatments, and has experienced a significant increase in prescription volume—from approximately 6,000 to 22,000 scripts daily—creating a dynamic, high-volume work environment. The position is a 13-week contract with potential for permanent placement.

Location:

• Stafford, Texas

Schedule/Hours:

• Overnight (3rd shift)
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare customized compounded medications per prescription and established compounding standards
• Maintain detailed records of formulations, ingredient usage, and inventory management
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacy team members
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure efficient and timely service delivery
• Stay informed about current pharmaceutical trends and advancements in compounding techniques

Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in Texas
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in sterile compounding
• Familiarity with pharmacy software such as LifeFile and PK Software is beneficial
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
