Clinical Pharmacist in Katy, TX

A growing pharmacy operation is seeking seven experienced Compounding Pharmacists for a 13-week contract-to-perm opportunity in the Stafford, Texas area. This role focuses on sterile compounding and requires a proactive pharmacist ready to contribute to a dynamic pharmacy team.

Schedule & Location:

• Location: Stafford, Texas
• Shift: 1st shift, Monday through Friday
• Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare customized sterile medications accurately following prescriptions and compounding standards.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of formulations, ingredients, and inventory.
• Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacy team members.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure efficient and timely medication preparation.
• Keep up to date with pharmaceutical trends and compounding techniques to maintain best practices.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Texas Pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 1 year experience specifically in sterile compounding.
• Proven ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software such as LifeFile and PK Software is advantageous.
