Clinical Pharmacist - Kenner, Louisiana

This opportunity is for transplant/clinical pharmacist specialists to support a renowned medical center in the Kenner, Louisiana area on a 13-week contract starting Monday, May 4th. This role offers the chance to apply specialized transplant pharmacy expertise within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert clinical pharmacy services focused on solid organ transplant patients.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system to document and manage patient care.
• Participate in weekend shifts as part of a rotating schedule.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of comprehensive transplant pharmacy experience.
• PGY-2 Solid Organ Transplant residency preferred; candidates with PGY-1 plus transplant support experience are encouraged to apply.
• Louisiana pharmacist license must be active and in-hand.
• Board certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Schedule:

• Day shifts: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Weekend rotations required.
