Clinical Pharmacist - Kenner, LA

A healthcare facility in Kenner, LA is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist with critical care expertise for a 13-week contract assignment starting June 2. This opportunity involves working day shifts from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. every other week, providing support to Cardiovascular ICU and Medical ICU2 units within a Level 1 trauma hospital setting.

Responsibilities include delivering advanced clinical pharmacy services to critically ill patients, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize medication therapy, and ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and EMR documentation using EPIC. This role plays a vital part in managing complex medication regimens and supporting patient outcomes in a high-acuity environment.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year recent experience as a Critical Care/Clinical Pharmacist at a Level 1 trauma center
• Familiarity with Cardiovascular and Medical ICU operations preferred
• PGY-2 residency preferred but not mandatory
• Active Louisiana pharmacy license (required)
• Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy or Critical Care is advantageous
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system is required
