A specialty compounding pharmacy in Kennett Square, PA seeks skilled clinical pharmacists with expertise in sterile and non-sterile compounding for a 13-week contract to hire opportunity. This role emphasizes personalized pharmaceutical preparations tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and verify compounded sterile and non-sterile medications following master formula worksheets.
  • Adhere rigorously to SOPs and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including USP <795>, <797>, and <800> guidelines.
  • Maintain aseptic techniques and proper cleaning and garbing procedures.
  • Operate and monitor production equipment accurately, ensuring quality, purity, and potency of compounded medications.
  • Perform calculations, documentation, and quality control testing to validate compounded preparations.
  • Provide patient counseling on compounded prescriptions and over-the-counter medications.
  • Collaborate with prescription dispensing teams to support accurate preparation and pharmacy operations.
  • Stay updated on advancements in compounding techniques and pharmacy practices.

Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license.
  • Recent pharmacy experience with demonstrated sterile compounding proficiency.
  • Strong understanding of USP compounding standards and aseptic techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are critical for success in this role.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
