A Specialty Compounding Pharmacy seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to support both sterile and non-sterile production operations. This role is designed for professionals passionate about personalized patient care through bespoke pharmaceutical preparations. Under the Pharmacy Supervisor’s direction, you will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while contributing to accurate compounding and effective patient counseling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of sterile and non-sterile compounded medications in compliance with master formula worksheets and SOPs.
  • Implement and ensure adherence to USP <795>, <797>, and <800> guidelines.
  • Maintain strict cleaning and garbing protocols to uphold safety standards.
  • Perform precise calculations and thorough documentation.
  • Operate and monitor production and computerized equipment to guarantee quality and consistency.
  • Conduct quality control tests and inspections to verify accuracy, purity, and potency of all compounded medications.
  • Provide patient counseling on compounded, prescription, and OTC medications.
  • Stay current with new compounding techniques, formulations, and advancements through continuous learning.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license is required.
  • Recent hands-on pharmacy experience, particularly in sterile compounding.
  • Ability to work effectively with both sterile and non-sterile production departments.
  • Open to new graduates with relevant compounding training.

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, with shifts of 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, or 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM.
