Clinical Pharmacist in Kent, WA

This opportunity is for a Clinical Infusion Pharmacist specializing in home infusion therapies, located in Seattle, WA. The position offers a contract-to-hire arrangement starting with a 13-week temporary period and an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Provide clinical oversight for infusion therapies, including specialty medications, biologics, antimicrobials, TPN, and compounded sterile preparations.
• Assess patient-specific therapy plans and monitor outcomes to optimize treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication management and therapy recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Washington with an active and clear license.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical pharmacy experience, with home infusion experience highly preferred.
• Proven clinical expertise in inpatient, IV therapy, home infusion, TPN, Vancomycin, biologics, and compounding.
• Specialty experience working with rare disease states and complex patient populations is a strong plus.
• Local to Seattle, WA, or willing to reside locally for the duration of the role.
