Clinical Pharmacist in Kent, WA

A Clinical Infusion Pharmacist position is available in the home infusion setting, located in Seattle, WA. This opportunity offers a contract-to-hire arrangement starting with a 13-week temporary period and an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide clinical oversight for infusion therapies, including specialty medications, biologics, antimicrobials, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), and compounded sterile preparations.
• Assess patient-specific therapy plans and monitor outcomes to optimize the effectiveness of treatments.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to manage medication therapies and offer clinical recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with an active and clear Washington State license.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical pharmacy experience; home infusion experience is highly preferred.
• Clinical expertise in inpatient, IV therapy, home infusion, TPN, vancomycin, biologics, and sterile compounding is required.
• Experience working with complex or rare disease states and specialty patient populations is a strong plus.
• Must be local to the Seattle, WA area and able to work onsite.
