Clinical Pharmacist - Kings Beach, California

A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available at a 100-bed hospital in the South Lake Tahoe area, requiring expertise in chemotherapy and oncology medications. This contract role offers a schedule of four 10-hour day shifts per week, ideal for pharmacists with approximately one year of experience and a California license.

Location:

• Kings Beach, CA (South Lake Tahoe area)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct order verification to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and compliance
• Consult regularly with nurses and physicians regarding pharmacotherapy
• Manage pharmacokinetics assessments and related clinical activities
• Utilize hospital IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis for daily operations

Qualifications:

• Active California pharmacist license
• Approximately 1 year of pharmacy experience, with strong chemo/oncology knowledge preferred
• Ability to work full-time day shifts, four 10-hour shifts per week
• Strong communication and clinical consultation skills
