Clinical Pharmacist in Laguna Hills, CA

A healthcare facility in Laguna Hills, CA is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for a 13-week inpatient assignment starting May 11. This contract role offers the opportunity to support clinical operations within a dynamic hospital environment.

Schedule:

• 4x10-hour shifts per week
• Mix of day and evening shifts starting at 6:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., or 1:30 p.m.
• Rotating weekends required

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate efficient inpatient pharmacy workflow, including medication verification and operational tasks
• Provide clinical support aligned with your experience, including assisting with clinical rounding if applicable
• Collaborate within a team using the EPIC electronic medical records system to ensure accuracy and safety in medication management

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Residency completion highly preferred, with PGY-1 strongly desired
• Prior clinical rounding exposure is a plus
• Ability to adapt to varying shift times and weekend rotation
