Clinical Pharmacist | Lakewood, New Jersey

A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available for a 13-week contract position beginning April 27 or May 4, with evening shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM every other week.

This role focuses on both operational and clinical pharmacy responsibilities within an inpatient setting. Key duties include reviewing, verifying, and dispensing medication orders, preparing sterile and hazardous medications in compliance with USP standards, and managing controlled substances. You will also perform medication histories, reconciliation, and patient education. Clinically, you will provide interventions to optimize therapy outcomes and offer drug information to healthcare teams and patients using the EPIC EMR system.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum one year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with Pyxis and carousel technology is preferred but not mandatory
• Active New Jersey pharmacist license
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including booster
• Open to first-time travel pharmacists
