Clinical Pharmacist - Lamont, CA

A full-time compounding pharmacist opportunity is available in Lamont, CA, with an assignment running through July 2026 and potential for permanent placement. This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, safety, and compliance of sterile and non-sterile compounded medications.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding processes
• Perform final verification of prescriptions to ensure accuracy
• Fill, label, and prepackage medications appropriately
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding orders, clarifications, and refills
• Counsel patients and respond to medication-related questions
• Maintain compliance with USP 795, 797, 800 standards and state Board of Pharmacy regulations

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:15 AM – 5:15 PM
• Full-time commitment through July 2026

Qualifications:

• PharmD or BS degree in Pharmacy
• Active California Pharmacist license
• 3 to 5 years of pharmacy experience, with compounding preferred
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
