A full-time opportunity is available for a Compounding Pharmacist through July 2026, with potential for permanent placement. This role focuses on overseeing both sterile and non-sterile compounding operations, ensuring medication safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance in a clinical pharmacy setting.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding processes to meet quality standards
- Perform final verification of prescriptions before dispensing
- Fill, label, and prepackage medications accurately
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding orders, clarifications, and refills
- Provide counseling to patients and respond to medication-related inquiries
- Ensure compliance with USP standards (795, 797, 800) and Board of Pharmacy regulations
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:15 AM – 5:15 PM
- Full-time assignment through July 2026
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- Active California Pharmacist license in good standing
- 3 to 5 years of pharmacy experience with a preference for compounding expertise
- Strong organizational skills and clear communication abilities to collaborate effectively with providers and patients

- Position based in Lamont, CA
