An immediate opening for two IV/Infusion Pharmacists is available for an 8-10 week contract opportunity in Las Vegas, NV. This role offers a fast start and requires a dedicated clinical pharmacist with specialty infusion expertise to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care within a dynamic specialty pharmacy environment.

Schedule & Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • On-call rotation on weekends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, verify, and dispense specialty pharmacy prescriptions ensuring compliance with State Board of Pharmacy, FDA, DEA, URAC, ACHC, and other regulatory standards
  • Counsel patients and manage medication therapy for specialty disease states
  • Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and interns to maintain operational excellence
  • Collaborate closely with Intake, Referral, and Clinical teams to facilitate efficient onboarding and prescription fulfillment
  • Support documentation efforts, quality assurance activities, and incident resolution
  • Maintain accurate pharmacy records and operational workflows
  • Participate in weekend on-call rotation as required

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Nevada Pharmacist License (required)
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Proven specialty, infusion, or compounding pharmacy background (retail-only candidates will not qualify)
  • Strong knowledge of specialty therapies, patient qualification processes, and pharmacy operations
  • Experience leading or collaborating closely with pharmacy technicians
  • 1-2 years’ experience in specialty, infusion, hospital, or similar pharmacy settings preferred
  • Familiarity with specialty pharmacy payer requirements and clinical coordination
  • Experience with CareTend is a plus

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent clinical judgment and expertise in specialty medication management
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and pharmacy software applications
  • Ability to work onsite and manage multiple priorities efficiently
