Clinical Pharmacist in Las Vegas, NV

A leading specialty pharmacy in Las Vegas, NV is seeking two experienced IV/Infusion Pharmacists for immediate placement on an 8-10 week contract. This opportunity offers a fast start and a dynamic work environment focusing on specialty therapies and infusion services.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call rotation on weekends

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Nevada Pharmacist License (required)
• BS or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
• Specialty, infusion, or compounding pharmacy background (retail-only experience not accepted)
• 1-2 years of experience in specialty, infusion, hospital, or comparable pharmacy settings preferred
• Understanding of specialty medication therapies, patient qualification processes, and payer requirements
• Experience supervising or collaborating closely with pharmacy technicians
• Familiarity with CareTend software (preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Review, verify, and dispense prescriptions while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards including State Board of Pharmacy, FDA, DEA, URAC, and ACHC
• Provide expert patient counseling and manage medication therapy for specialty disease states
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns to ensure high-quality operations
• Collaborate with Intake, Referral, and Clinical teams to facilitate efficient patient onboarding and prescription fulfillment
• Maintain pharmacy records, support quality assurance, and resolve incidents promptly
• Participate in weekend on-call rotations as scheduled
