Clinical Pharmacist in Lawrence, KS

An opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services at a healthcare facility in Lawrence, KS. This contract position runs for 13 weeks, starting on 9/21, and offers a varied schedule including days, evenings, and rotating weekends. Candidates living more than 50 miles from the site are encouraged to apply, and first-time travelers are welcome.

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with protocols
• Check and verify medication orders and dispensing for safety and efficacy
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient medication therapy

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Kansas pharmacist license required at time of application submission
• At least 2 years of recent experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications mandatory
• Ability to adapt to a rotating schedule including weekends and varied shifts
