Clinical Pharmacist - Levittown, PA

A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist with a focus on infusion pharmacy practices. This role is based at a well-established university campus in Levittown, PA, and offers the chance to apply specialized skills in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule:

• Monday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

This 13-week assignment begins immediately and requires a pharmacist with a strong background in home infusion pharmacy. The primary responsibilities include clinical duties such as verifying medication orders, supervising pharmacy technicians, and ensuring quality control. The role also involves occasional hands-on tasks like gowning up and preparing intravenous (IV) medications when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct clinical checks and verification of infusion medications
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
• Prepare IV medications as needed, adhering to safety protocols
• Utilize pharmacy systems efficiently, preferably Brightree

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license in good standing
• Proven experience in home infusion pharmacy settings
• Competency in clinical pharmacist duties and medication verification
• Familiarity with Brightree software is preferred but not mandatory
