Clinical Pharmacist - Lewistown, Pennsylvania

A hospital-based pharmacist position is available, offering the opportunity to work within a 150-bed community hospital setting. The role requires a proactive pharmacist to support clinical operations with an immediate start date and a contract duration of approximately 5 to 6 months or longer.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently to ensure patient safety
• Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians to maintain high-quality pharmacy services
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and healthcare teams on medication therapy management
• Utilize hospital pharmacy IT systems including Meditech, PharmacyKeeper, and Pyxis for daily operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an inpatient pharmacy role
• Familiarity with Meditech system is highly desired
• Full-time availability with flexibility for variable day and afternoon shifts
