This is an opportunity for a clinical pharmacist to develop broad expertise by working across multiple critical care settings, including the Emergency Department (ED) and Critical Care Unit (CCU), as well as contributing to the antibiotic stewardship team. Unlike larger facilities where clinical pharmacists may be limited to a single floor, this role offers diverse clinical exposure and the chance to enhance your skills in a collaborative environment.
Location:
- State College, PA, a vibrant area known for its scenic beauty and home to Penn State University

Schedule:
- Variable days/afternoons, primarily day shifts
- 8-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and verify medication orders, review medication profiles for appropriateness, and provide clinical services tailored to patient populations
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams and rounds as assigned
- Perform drug therapy monitoring and pharmacist-managed consults according to protocol
- Engage actively in acute patient care situations such as cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma within ED and critical care settings
Qualifications:
- BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree required
- PGY1 residency or minimum three years of current clinical experience preferred
- PA pharmacist license or ability to obtain (candidates without a current PA license are encouraged to apply)
Additional Information:
- Familiarity with Meditech IT systems is beneficial
- Competitive compensation offering a range approximately $108,000 to $169,000 annually, with a midpoint around $139,000
