Clinical Pharmacist - Lewisville, AR

This opportunity is for an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to provide clinical pharmacy services in a 500-bed hospital setting featuring a 42-bed NICU and a 14-bed Pediatric ICU. This role supports general inpatient pharmacy duties within a healthcare system that recently transitioned to EPIC from Cerner, offering an excellent environment for pharmacists familiar with this electronic health record system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care to inpatients, ensuring safe and effective medication therapy.
• Collaborate closely with medical teams in a fast-paced hospital environment including NICU and Pediatric ICU units.
• Utilize EPIC for medication management, documentation, and clinical decision-making.
• Monitor patient medication regimens to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care planning.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• 1-2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with EPIC software is strongly desired, ideally with knowledge of recent system conversions.
• Strong clinical judgement and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and diverse hospital environment.

Schedule and Location:

• Night shifts on a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation, Wednesday through Tuesday cycle.
• Position located in Lubbock, TX.
• Travel assignment with potential for permanent placement for candidates willing to relocate.
