A permanent opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to advance their expertise by working across multiple clinical units, including the Emergency Department (ED) and Critical Care Unit (CCU), while contributing to the antibiotic stewardship team. Unlike larger hospitals where pharmacists are often assigned to a single floor, this role offers a dynamic environment where clinical skills can expand through diverse patient populations and collaborative care.
Responsibilities:
- Enter and verify medication orders, review medication profiles for appropriateness, and provide clinical services tailored to patient needs.
- Participate actively in multi-disciplinary teams and rounds within assigned practice areas.
- Monitor drug therapy and manage pharmacist consults according to protocols.
- Engage in acute patient scenarios such as cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma, especially within ED and critical care settings.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Completion of PGY1 residency or a minimum of three years’ current clinical pharmacy experience.
- Licensed pharmacist or ability to obtain a PA pharmacist license.
- Candidates from out-of-state are encouraged to apply; licensure can be acquired post-hire.
Location:

Schedule:
Variable day and afternoon shifts, primarily 8-hour day shifts.
Technology:
Experience with Meditech healthcare information systems preferred.
