A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available supporting an outpatient/ambulatory infusion division. This role focuses primarily on the review, dispensing, and verification of hazardous and non-hazardous medications for oncology and infusion patients, ensuring accurate and safe medication use.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

This 13-week contract position begins on September 28 and offers the chance to work with a leading healthcare provider in a community setting in Littleton, CO.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing order review and medication verification for chemotherapy and infusion therapies
  • Dispensing hazardous and non-hazardous medications accurately to oncology and infusion patients
  • Utilizing EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document and manage medication orders
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and safety standards

Qualifications:

  • Current Colorado pharmacist license in good standing
  • Minimum of 2 years infusion pharmacy experience; chemotherapy experience is a strong plus
  • Proficiency with EPIC or comparable EMR systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance with safety protocols
  • Ability to work onsite in Littleton, CO; local candidates preferred
