An opportunity is open for a Clinical Pharmacist focusing on outpatient oncology infusion services. This contract position requires night shift availability, primarily from midnight to 9:00 AM, Monday through Friday. The role is based in the Los Angeles metro area with multiple potential sites, supporting oncology teams in medication safety and IV preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify intravenous (IV) chemotherapy preparations ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Apply strong knowledge of USP 797 and 800 guidelines on sterile compounding and hazardous drug handling.
• Collaborate effectively with oncology care teams in an outpatient infusion setting.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records for order review and documentation.
• Support timely and accurate delivery of chemotherapy treatments.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with clinical experience.
• Previous chemotherapy/oncology pharmacy experience is required.
• Proficient in sterile compounding, particularly IV medications.
• Familiarity with USP 797/800 standards.
• Experience with EPIC health information system preferred.
• Able to work independently during night shifts.

Location:

• Los Angeles metropolitan area, with deployment across various outpatient oncology infusion sites.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, midnight to 9:00 AM shifts.
