A clinical pharmacist position is available at a prominent outpatient oncology infusion center located on the Santa Monica campus. This opportunity focuses on specialized cancer care within a multidisciplinary team environment, delivering expert pharmacy services to support patient-centered oncology treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare and dispense oncology and chemotherapy medications following established protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes for cancer patients.
  • Monitor patient responses and manage drug therapy regimens specific to outpatient oncology infusion.
  • Utilize Epic electronic medical records to document clinical interventions and medication management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain a safe medication use environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical pharmacy experience in outpatient oncology infusion settings is mandatory.
  • Proficient with Epic electronic health record systems.
  • Strong knowledge of oncology pharmacotherapy, chemotherapy protocols, and cancer center pharmacy operations.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work variable day shifts between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday with variable start times within the 7 AM to 6 PM timeframe, aligning with clinical service needs.
