A clinical pharmacist position is available at an infusion pharmacy specializing in a diverse range of medication classes, including chemotherapy and oncology treatments. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on delivering specialized patient care.

Location:

• Ventura County, CA (with some flexibility for candidates based in the Long Beach area)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No nights or weekend shifts

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and dispense medications, particularly chemotherapy and oncology drugs, in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor patient responses and adjust medication plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate records and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Provide professional guidance and education to patients regarding their treatment plans

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current California pharmacist license
• Experience working in infusion pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with chemotherapy and oncology medication handling and protocols
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills and clinical knowledge
