Location: Los Angeles, CA (multiple sites possible within LA metro area)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Midnight to 9:00 AM
Responsibilities:
- Verify and check intravenous (IV) chemotherapy and other infusion orders with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ensure compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines related to sterile and hazardous drug compounding
- Collaborate with clinical teams to support safe and efficient outpatient oncology infusion services
- Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for medication verification and documentation
- Provide expert consultation on chemotherapy regimens and precautions
Desired Experience:
- Licensed pharmacist with relevant state licensure
- Prior experience in outpatient oncology pharmacy, especially chemotherapy preparation and verification
- Strong knowledge of USP 797 and USP 800 standards for sterile compounding and hazardous drugs
- Comfortable working night shifts with a reliable, professional approach
- Proficiency in EPIC or similar electronic health record systems
