Join a highly specialized clinical pharmacy team supporting outpatient oncology infusion services in the Los Angeles area. This contract role involves ensuring the safe preparation and verification of chemotherapy and other IV medications during night shifts, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and check IV chemotherapy preparations and other infusions with accuracy and adherence to safety protocols
  • Apply strong knowledge of USP 797 and USP 800 standards in sterile and hazardous drug compounding
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy and safety
  • Utilize EPIC electronic health records to document and manage medication orders

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current pharmacist licensure with eligibility to practice in California
  • Demonstrated experience in oncology pharmacy, specifically chemotherapy preparation and verification
  • Solid understanding and application of USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines
  • Experience working night shift hours preferred
  • Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 12:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

Location:

  • Multiple sites across the Los Angeles metro area; assignment location to be determined based on operational needs
