Clinical Pharmacist - Los Angeles, California

This opportunity is for a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in chemotherapy and oncology, based in the Los Angeles area. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with strong outpatient infusion and IV compounding experience, especially in oncology therapies. The position requires working within a team to support outpatient oncology infusion services across multiple locations, with specific assignment yet to be finalized.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify intravenous chemotherapy and supportive care medication orders
• Ensure compliance with USP 797 and 800 standards for sterile compounding and hazardous drug handling
• Collaborate closely with oncology care teams to support patient safety and effective therapy delivery
• Utilize the EPIC electronic health system for medication order processing and documentation
• Participate consistently in a Monday to Friday day shift schedule, 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Desired Experience:

• Strong background in oncology pharmacy practice with solid chemotherapy expertise
• Proficiency with sterile IV preparations and adherence to USP 797/800 guidelines
• Familiarity with outpatient oncology infusion settings is highly preferred
• Experience using EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems

Location:

• Los Angeles metro area (specific site assignments within the region to be determined)

Additional Details:

• Contract position with a duration of at least 13 weeks, starting as soon as possible
• Day shifts aligned with early morning hours to support infusion schedules
