This opportunity seeks a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in oncology to support the Cancer Center Pharmacy at a prominent outpatient oncology infusion center located at the Santa Monica Campus. This contract position offers a chance to apply your expertise in oncology pharmacotherapy within a highly regarded academic health system.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing complex chemotherapy regimens for outpatient infusion patients
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
  • Reviewing and verifying oncology medication orders with precision and clinical judgment
  • Utilizing Epic electronic health records to document and manage patient care seamlessly
  • Participating in clinical decision-making to optimize therapy and improve patient outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience specifically in outpatient oncology infusion pharmacy
  • Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system is required
  • Strong knowledge of oncology pharmacology, chemotherapy protocols, and safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently within the cancer center pharmacy setting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to interact closely with physicians and nursing staff

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Variable shifts between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM with day shifts predominating
