Clinical Pharmacist - Los Angeles, CA

An opportunity is available for a skilled Clinical Oncology Pharmacist to support outpatient oncology infusion services at a prominent health center's Santa Monica campus. This role focuses on providing specialized pharmaceutical care within a cancer center pharmacy, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes for oncology patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and dispense oncology and chemotherapy medications in an outpatient infusion setting.
• Collaborate closely with oncology care teams to optimize medication therapy plans.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for accurate documentation and medication management.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and clinical protocols related to oncology pharmacy practice.
• Provide expert guidance on drug interactions, side effects, and infusion protocols.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent clinical experience in outpatient oncology infusion pharmacy.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system is required.
• Strong knowledge of oncology medications, chemotherapy administration, and related safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Location and Schedule:

• Based at the Santa Monica campus.
• Monday through Friday schedule with variable shifts between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
