An opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist with inpatient experience to support a large health-system in Los Angeles, CA. This role focuses on delivering high-quality pharmacy services, utilizing EPIC. The position is a 3-6-month contract to hire, requiring candidates to commit for the full duration of contract to be considered for permanent hire.

Schedule: Mixed days/evenings/weekend rotation
System: EPIC
Duration: 3-6 Month Contract; Permanent hire if a good match
Candidate Requirements: Local preferred; travelers may be considered

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee intravenous (IV) admixtures in compliance with safety and quality standards
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient-centered pharmaceutical care
Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements
Utilize EPIC system for accurate and efficient documentation and medication order processing

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Active California Pharmacist license is mandatory
Minimum of 1 year hospital experience, including sterile compounding or IV room operations
Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy procedures and standards
Proficiency in using EPIC electronic health records system
Detail-oriented with excellent communication and teamwork skills

Compensation:  $65 - $85/hour (DOE)
