Position Overview

Compensation: $3000 - $3200+/Week

A healthcare facility providing pharmacy services to acute care and long-term care patients is seeking an experienced Travel Pharmacist for an immediate start. This role offers the opportunity to support medication management across a 60-bed acute care service and 100+ long-term care beds.

Key Responsibilities
Perform order verification and ensure medication accuracy and safety.
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians.
Consult with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Provide pharmacokinetic monitoring and clinical pharmacy services.
Support medication management across acute care and long-term care settings.
Maintain compliance with pharmacy standards and patient safety protocols.

Qualifications
Active California pharmacist license.
Recent hospital pharmacy experience.
Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
Ability to work variable day and afternoon shifts.
Experience with acute care or long-term care pharmacy services preferred.
Pharmacy Systems
IT System: Altera Sunrise
Training will be provided. Previous experience with this system is not required.
