Clinical Pharmacist in Madison, WI

An opportunity is available for three Inpatient Pharmacists to support a well-respected hospital in Madison, WI for a 13-week period beginning May 11. This contract role offers a mix of day shifts (6:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.) and evening shifts (2:30 p.m. – 11 p.m.) on a 5x8-hour schedule, with rotating weekends every third week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient acute care setting
• Perform pharmacokinetic and renal dosing assessments
• Monitor therapeutic medication use and manage drug shortages
• Deliver pharmacotherapy management for diverse medical conditions
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and order entry

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient pharmacy experience required
• Active Wisconsin pharmacy license or ACT-10 permit accepted
• Must be willing and able to comply with mask fit testing requirements (no exceptions; must be clean-shaven to ensure proper mask seal)
• Travelers only; candidates residing within 70 miles of the site will not be considered

Additional Details:

• Scrubs will be provided upon starting the assignment
• CAPRs and PAPRs are not permitted for use at this facility, and personal devices will not be allowed
