Clinical Pharmacist in Madison, WI

A healthcare facility in Madison, WI is seeking three experienced inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract starting May 11. This role involves providing comprehensive clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient hospital setting utilizing the EPIC electronic medical record system.

Work Schedule:

• Rotating shifts including days (6:30 AM–3:00 PM) and evenings (2:30 PM–11:00 PM)
• Five 8-hour shifts per week
• Rotation includes working every third weekend

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert pharmacotherapy management for acute and inpatient medical cases
• Perform pharmacokinetic and renal dosing adjustments
• Monitor therapeutic medication levels and manage drug shortages effectively
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient or acute care pharmacy experience required
• Valid pharmacy licensure in Wisconsin; ACT-10 license also accepted
• Proficient with EPIC EMR system
• Must comply with facility safety protocols: Travelers are required to be clean-shaven for mask fit testing as CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided or approved for personal use
