This contract assignment offers an exciting opportunity for experienced inpatient pharmacists to provide clinical expertise in a dynamic hospital setting. The role includes a 13-week assignment starting in mid-May, with a schedule of five 8-hour shifts per week, rotating every third weekend. Shifts alternate between days (6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and evenings (2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inpatient pharmacy operations, including pharmacokinetic and renal dosing
- Conduct therapeutic medication monitoring and drug shortage management
- Deliver pharmacotherapy management for a variety of medical conditions
- Navigate and document all clinical activities in the EPIC electronic medical record system
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient or acute care pharmacy experience
- Proficiency with pharmacokinetic dosing and therapeutic drug monitoring
- Ability to effectively manage drug shortages and complex pharmacotherapy cases
- Must hold a valid Wisconsin pharmacy license; ACT-10 license holders are accepted
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must be travelers; local applicants within 70 miles will not be considered
- Compliance with mask fit testing is mandatory; candidates must shave as required for a proper mask seal—CAPRs and PAPRs will not be permitted onsite
- Scrubs will be provided upon starting the assignment
