A healthcare facility in Madison, WI seeks three inpatient pharmacists to support their clinical pharmacy team for a 13-week contract starting May 11. This role offers a dynamic schedule with a mix of day (6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) and evening (2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.) shifts, working 5 eight-hour days per week, rotating every third weekend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient setting
- Manage pharmacokinetic and renal dosing to optimize patient therapies
- Monitor therapeutic drug levels and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Address drug shortage challenges effectively
- Deliver pharmacotherapy management for diverse medical conditions
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation and communication
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient/acute care pharmacy experience
- Familiarity with pharmacokinetic dosing and therapeutic medication monitoring
- Strong knowledge of renal dosing and pharmacotherapy management
- Valid Wisconsin pharmacy license or ACT-10 license accepted
- Ability to comply with strict mask fit testing requirements; candidates must be clean-shaven to pass mask fit testing (note: use of personal CAPRs or PAPRs is prohibited)
