Clinical Pharmacist in Madison, WI

A Clinical Pharmacist role is available on a contract-to-hire basis in Madison, WI, offering a rewarding opportunity to leverage your expertise in IV pharmacy and sterile compounding. Candidates must be prepared to work under contract for at least six months before being considered for a permanent position.

This position requires a strong background in IV experience, recently acquired, with at least two years of recent home infusion experience preferred. Active and clear Wisconsin pharmacy licensure is mandatory, along with a minimum of two years of recent sterile compounding experience. CPR certification is preferred but not required.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• On call every fourth weekend and one night per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify IV medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare IV medications in the clean room as needed
• Perform various clinical pharmacy duties to support patient care

Qualifications:

• Recent IV and sterile compounding experience (minimum 2 years)
• Active Wisconsin pharmacist license
• CPR certification preferred
• Recent home infusion experience desirable
