Clinical Pharmacist in Madison, WI

Join a leading inpatient pharmacy team supporting acute care in a respected hospital setting. This 13-week contract role offers a chance to apply your clinical expertise across a variety of shifts, ensuring comprehensive pharmaceutical care for hospitalized patients.

Location: Madison, WI

Schedule:

• Day shift: 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Mid shift: 11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
• Evening shift: 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
• Five 8-hour shifts per week
• Rotation includes every third weekend

Responsibilities:

• Deliver clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient setting, collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Conduct pharmacokinetic and renal dosing adjustments.
• Manage therapeutic drug monitoring and pharmacotherapy for medical conditions.
• Address drug shortage challenges to ensure medication availability.
• Utilize EPIC EMR system proficiently for accurate documentation and communication.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in inpatient or acute care pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy and dosing protocols.
• Current Wisconsin pharmacist license; ACT-10 license holders are eligible.
• Experience with EPIC EMR required.
• Ability and willingness to comply with fit testing protocols (must be clean-shaven for mask seal testing; use of personal PAPRs/CAPRs is not permitted).

Additional Information:

• Scrubs will be provided upon start.
• Travelers must meet mask fit testing requirements; those unable to do so will not be able to proceed.
