Clinical Pharmacist | Magnolia, Mississippi

A hospital pharmacist opportunity is available in a behavioral health setting, working on a contract basis at a facility specializing in psychiatric care. The role is based in Magnolia, MS, with a start date as soon as possible and extends through June 13th.

Responsibilities:

• Perform verification and checking of medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety
• Conduct necessary controls and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Operate as the sole pharmacist on site, overseeing pharmacy operations independently
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians who provide support during working hours

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid pharmacist license with clinical pharmacy experience
• Background or interest in behavioral health or psychiatric pharmacy practice
• Experience with medDispense system and Azalea Health electronic health records is preferred
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to accuracy and detail

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekend shifts required
