Clinical Pharmacist | Marion, Iowa

This opportunity is for an experienced clinical pharmacist with a focus on oncology and chemotherapy, based in Marion, Iowa. The role offers a Monday through Friday day-shift schedule and is available for immediate start. This contract position lasts 13 weeks with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role.

Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians and nurses, and managing pharmacokinetics. The pharmacist will utilize EPIC for electronic health records and medication management.

Ideal candidates will have current chemotherapy and oncology experience along with an active Iowa pharmacist license or eligibility for a temporary Iowa pharmacist license. A temporary Iowa license is acceptable for this role.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven oncology/chemotherapy pharmacy experience
• Ability to obtain or hold an Iowa pharmacist license, including temporary
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record systems
• Strong communication skills to consult effectively with clinical teams
• Prior experience supervising pharmacy technicians and managing complex medication orders
