Clinical Pharmacist - Markleeville, CA

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to support inpatient services at a 100-bed hospital in South Lake Tahoe. This role involves working with advanced pharmacy IT systems, including EPIC and Pyxis, to ensure safe and effective medication management for hospitalized patients.

Location:

• South Lake Tahoe, CA

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inpatient pharmacy staffing, providing comprehensive clinical pharmaceutical care
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate medication therapy
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication dispensing and documentation
• Monitor patient medication regimens for safety, efficacy, and compliance with regulations
• Participate in medication reconciliation and provide education to patients and staff as needed

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and active California Pharmacist license
• Minimum of one year of pharmacy experience, preferably in inpatient hospital settings
• Full-time availability to work the established schedule
• Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices and hospital protocols
• Proficient with pharmacy IT systems such as EPIC and Pyxis
