Clinical Pharmacist in Mashpee, MA

Join a community hospital on Cape Cod seeking a Pharmacist for the night shift. This role is ideally suited for candidates with hospital experience who hold a valid Massachusetts Pharmacist license. The hospital is a 200-bed facility located approximately 70 miles south of Boston.

Schedule and Location:

• Night shift: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 7 days on, 7 days off rotation
• Position based in Mashpee, Massachusetts

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee workflow
• Manage pharmacokinetics and dosing recommendations
• Collaborate and consult with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems effectively

Qualifications:

• Current Massachusetts Pharmacist license required
• Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently during night shifts
• Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems is advantageous
