Clinical Pharmacist in Mashpee, MA

A community hospital located on Cape Cod seeks a Clinical Pharmacist for the night shift to support its 200-bed facility. This contract role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment approximately 70 miles south of Boston.

Schedule:

• Night shift
• 7 days on, 7 days off
• Hours: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Location:

• Mashpee, MA

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Perform pharmacokinetic monitoring and dose adjustments
• Provide consultation to physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapy and clinical concerns
• Utilize IT systems such as EPIC and Pyxis to manage medication distribution and documentation

Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts Pharmacist license
• Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting
• Strong understanding of clinical pharmacy practices and patient safety principles
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
