Clinical Pharmacist | Mccomb, Mississippi

A hospital pharmacist position is available in a behavioral health setting, offering the opportunity to work as the solo pharmacist within the facility. This contract role runs through June 13th, with an immediate start.

Location:

• Mccomb, MS

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
• No weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Checking and verifying medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety for patients
• Conducting medication controls in compliance with regulatory standards
• Operating independently as the sole pharmacist on site, with support from pharmacy technicians
• Utilizing medDispense and Azalea Health electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage pharmacy operations

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed clinical pharmacist with experience in hospital or behavioral health pharmacy settings
• Proficiency with medDispense and EHR systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
• Experience with medication verification and control procedures
• Comfortable handling responsibilities as the solo pharmacist in a behavioral health environment
